My Last "Cruise" of the Day ...

(See the two "Cruisin'" posts below ...)

The first two layouts that I made with the Cruisin' paper packet were from the Workshops on the Go Cruisin' Kit (G1039). I love the Bottle Caps (Z1691)! Very fun! The stamped images are made using the stamp set in the WOTG kit.

Layout 1:

This layout is from the WOTG instructional brochure.

Layout 2:

This layout is from CTMH's how-to book, "Magic." It is called "Enchantment," on pg. 78.

This is a beautiful paper packet! I really love it. These layouts are going in my 3-year old nephew's scrapbook. Layout 1 will hold pictures from a car show, and Layout 2 will hold pictures of my nephew and his daddy playing with their toys cars. :-)

Still Cruisin' Along ...

(See the Cruisin' post below ...)

Continuing our "cruise" through this paper packet:

Layout 3:

Layout 3 uses two layouts from "Reflections." The left page layout is called "Main Frame - Offset" on pg. 57, based on a CTMH layout on pg. 59 of the Spring/Summer 2012 Idea Book. The white mat in the lower right-hand corner will hold a square picture with rounded corners, to look like a Polaroid. I think that will be very cool. :~) The right page is called "Quartet - Sliding" on pg. 115 of "Reflections."

In addition to the "Cruisin'" paper packet, I used our My Acrylix stamp set, "Born to Ride," (C1483). The string on the bottom of the white cardstock is from CTMH's new Baker's Twine Neutral Assortment (Z1701), in the Grey Wool color.

Layout 4:

Layout 4 also uses two "Reflections" layouts. The left page layout is called "Title Topper - Center Focus" on pg. 19. The right page layout is called "Bottom Border - Triple Combination" on pg. 33. Again, I used the "Born to Ride" stamp set (love the "Born to Ride" and "Feel the Wind" on the left page!) I mounted the cut out images on our 3-D Foam Tape (Z1151). The brads are Cranberry bitty brads.

These layouts are going in my nephew's scrapbook, and both will have pictures of him riding with his grandfather on the Harley. :-)

Cruisin' through layouts!

Last weekend, I attended my upline Tonya's awesome Shamrock Crop. I spent most of the weekend working with Close to My Heart's new "Cruisin'" paper packet from the Spring/Summer 2012 Idea Book. I was really happy with the results! My friend John H. asked me to post my layouts, and so here they are, in reverse order:

Layout 5:

Layout 5 uses two layouts from CTMH's how-to book, "Reflections." The left page layout is called "Bottom Border - Overlap," on p. 34. It was based on a design on pg. 112 of the Spring/Summer 2012 Idea Book. The right page layout is called "Sampler - Nine-Photo Quilt," on pg. 122. I used the Cruisin' Paper Packet (X7154B), the Cruisin' Complements Silver Foil Images (X7154C), the Irresistibles Persnickety Journaling Spots (Z1734), and I cut the scalloped circle with the 2" Scallop Circle Punch (Z1392).

Layout 6:

Layout 6 isn't blinged up yet. I used a layout called "Subtitles" from pg. 94 of CTMH's how-to book, "Imagine." That red cardstock is in our Cranberry shade.
